Final Reminder: Update Your Wallet Before the Cutoff or Risk Losing Your Tokens

As we approach the Qubetics token distribution, it's absolutely critical that every user ensures they are using a compatible wallet for receiving their $TICS tokens. We cannot stress this enough: if your receiving wallet is not compatible and you have not updated by the final cutoff on July 17th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. UTC, your tokens will be permanently lost. There will be no manual intervention, no recovery, and no exceptions.

An initial 10% of the public sale tokens will be airdropped on July 30th, 2025, with the remaining tokens distributed at a rate of 1% per day to the wallet address connected during purchase or updated via the Qubetics Dashboard.

Qubetics is built on a decentralized, non-custodial foundation. This means you are entirely in control of your wallet, but it also means you are fully responsible for making sure your wallet can receive your tokens. Let’s break this down so you understand why this is so important and exactly what you need to do.

Why This Matters

When you made your public sale purchase, your tokens were allocated to the EVM-compatible wallet address connected at the time of purchase. These tokens are queued to be airdropped to the wallet address stored under your Qubetics dashboard once the token distribution begins.

Here’s the issue: some wallets are not compatible with Qubetics’ custom Layer 1 blockchain at this time. If your wallet is incompatible and you do not update it before the cutoff date, your tokens will be sent to a wallet that cannot access them. There is nothing we can do after this point.

We Will Not Be Able to Help You After the Cutoff

Let’s be clear:

  • If you fail to update your wallet before the cutoff, we will not be able to retrieve or redirect your tokens.
  • We do not take responsibility for incompatible wallets. This is your responsibility as a participant in a decentralized, non-custodial ecosystem.

We are being as transparent as possible by providing early notice, user guides, compatible wallet lists, and ongoing reminders. If you still choose not to act, the loss will be yours alone.

How to Check If You Need to Change Your Wallet

You only need to take action if your current receiving wallet is incompatible with the Qubetics network.

If you are using a compatible wallet, great!
We still recommend you add the Qubetics network to your wallet now to avoid last-minute issues. A complete guide on adding the network and verifying your wallet is available here:

If your current wallet is not listed as compatible, YOU MUST ACT NOW by updating your receiving wallet on your dashboard before the cutoff date.

How to View the Wallet Your Tokens Are Currently Allocated To

To view your allocated wallet address:

  • Visit your dashboard at buy.qubetics.com
  • Connect the same wallet you connected during your public sale purchase
  • Go to the Settings tab
  • Look under "Wallet Allocated Tokens" – this is where your tokens will be sent

If this wallet is not compatible, follow the steps below to update it immediately.

How to Change Your Receiving Wallet Address

  • Visit your dashboard: buy.qubetics.com
  • Go to the Settings tab
  • Enter your new EVM-compatible address in the “New EVM Address” field
  • Click Confirm and sign the message with your wallet
  • Once successful, refresh the page, and your new wallet will appear under “Wallet Allocated Tokens”

Important for Trust Wallet Swift Beta (Android) Users:

If you're using the Swift Beta version of Trust Wallet on Android, please note that a known bug in the Trust Wallet app may prevent you from signing the message to confirm your new receiving wallet address.

This is not an issue with Qubetics, but a bug within Trust Wallet’s Swift Beta (Android) version. We have already submitted a bug report to Trust Wallet’s team and are awaiting a fix.

In the meantime, if signing fails, a workaround will automatically appear: a button labeled “Change via blockchain”, which allows you to complete the process via a smart contract transaction instead.

  • Visit your dashboard: buy.qubetics.com
  • Go to the Settings tab
  • Enter your new EVM-compatible address in the “New EVM Address” field
  • Click Confirm and sign the message with your wallet, if this fails
  • A new button will appear labeled “Change via blockchain”
  • Click “Change via blockchain” – this will initiate a smart contract transaction
  • Approve the transaction in your wallet (note: a small network fee will apply)
  • Once successful, refresh the page – your new wallet address will now appear under “Wallet Allocated Tokens”

This blockchain method bypasses the signature bug and finalizes your change directly on-chain.

Be sure the wallet you enter is listed in our official compatible wallets guide.

A Final Word of Caution

Even if you update your wallet now, you should continue to monitor your dashboard regularly. If your receiving wallet address is ever changed without your action, it may indicate your wallet has been compromised. In this case:

  • Update to a new secure wallet immediately
  • Change your receiving address again
  • Keep your seed phrase offline and secure

Your wallet is your responsibility, just like your bank login credentials. This is the nature of non-custodial crypto ownership, and there is no central support team or authority that can override your wallet activity.

Summary

  • If you don’t use a compatible wallet, your tokens may be permanently lost
  • Qubetics cannot help you after the cutoff date
  • Check your allocated wallet via your dashboard
  • Update your wallet address if needed
  • Use our official guide to confirm wallet compatibility

Please be advised that after July 17th, modifications to token delivery addresses will no longer be possible. It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure their receiving address is updated before this deadline.
